Terms and Conditions

Magali and Patrick welcome you to our tourist park and request that you follow PRTP terms and conditions for the comfort and safety of all our patrons. PRTP reserves the right to request any guest leave the park immediately if they disturb others and/or engage in unsafe behavior.

Terms and conditions

CHECK-OUT – Check-out is before 10.00am. Late check-outs may be available, subject to availability, upon request, with a late check-out fee of ½ the daily rate.

CLEANINGThe ablution block (toilets, showers and camp kitchen) are closed for cleaning from 10.00am to 11.00am.

CAMPERS KITCHEN – For the convenience of all campers please always keep the kitchen clean and tidy after use. The kitchen will be closed for cleaning between 10.00am and 11.00am.

AFTER HOURS – For emergencies or security issues please phone 0404 062 943 or press the bell located outside the Office.

CANCELLATION POLICY – Cancellations or alterations at the time of arrival incur a fee of 50% of the remaining booking. No refunds will be given on early departures.

APPLIANCES/AIR-CON/HEATERLeaving your electric/gas appliances or Air-con switched on while you’re out of the park is a safety risk and therefore prohibited.

BICYCLES – for the safety of your children, push bikes, scooters etc are not permitted within the park.

BIRDLIFE As cute as they may be, feeding the birds can be detrimental to their health. Kookaburras & Magpies can become very demanding. We kindly ask that you not feed any of the birds.

FIRESNo open camp/pit fires on any camp site at any time! Please only use the fireplace in the camp kitchen or the designated fire pits. Only available out of restricted/prohibited burning periods (1 May – 2 October).

LAUNDRY – Our Laundry is open from 8am to 8pm. A wash load is $6, ($1 or $2 coins) to use the dryer you would need 2 x $1 coins. All proceeds are donated to the Porongurup Volunteer Fire Brigade

NOISEAll noise including radio, TV etc. is to be kept at a level that does not disturb other guests in the Park at all times. Please do not play any music in public places e.g. Camp kitchen, BBQ area etc. Quiet time is from 10.00pm to 7.00am.

DOGS/PETSAs the pet owner you accept full responsibility for any personal injury or damage caused by your pet whilst in our park.

Dogs/Pets are not permitted in onsite park accommodation or facilities at any time

• Pets must be kept on a secured lead at all time

• Pets must not be left alone onsite at any time during your stay

• Pets must not be left attached to the outside of the van without supervision

• The Park washing machine, laundry trough and drier must not be used for washing pet bedding

• The owner must clean up IMMEDIATELY after their pet at all times

• The Manager reserves the right to ask any guest with a pet to leave immediately, with no refund given, if any of the above rules are not complied with, or if the pet is causing a nuisance

RUBBISH – Please ensure all rubbish is wrapped in plastic before throwing in wheelie bins, preventing odors & flies. Bottles (please remove lids), plastic, aluminum & cardboard are to be placed in the recycle bins. Rubbish bins are provided for general household items only.

SPEED LIMIT – Speed limit is 8km (equivalent to a fast walk). Pedestrians have right of way at all times.

TARPS/ANNEXES – Fake Grass mats, Plastic covers, carpets or tarps outside tents or caravans are not permitted on any grass/lawn area.

VEHICLES – ONLY 1 CAR PERMITTED PER SITE. Additional vehicles can be parked in the visitors parking area by prior arrangement.

VISITORS – Visitors are welcome whilst registered guests are present, however all visitors must register at reception on arrival. Please ensure that visitors leave the park by 10.00pm.

WATER – Water from taps on sites & in cabins is treated water from Bolganup dam and Bore water, however there may be some discoloration/bitter taste from tannin which could stain your kettle/tanks.

Treated drinking water is available from the tank next to the ablution black. Our water is precious please keep your shower time short (<5minutes). Washing vehicles is prohibited.

Park patrons use our Park facilities at their own risk. No responsibility will be taken by Porongurup Range Tourist Park for any loss or damage to persons, property or equipment.
